Sacred Heart of Jesus Churh: Sacramental Preparation

 Baptisms are celebrated on the every first and third Sunday of the month at 1:00 p.m. in Spanish and every second and fourth Sunday of the month in English at 1:00 p.m.  Please contact the parish office for information and requirements.  

 First Holy Communion is a two year preparation for children who begin in the first grade.  More information is available on the Religious Education page. 

 The Sacrament of Confirmation program is a two year commitment of preparation.  Please contact the office for further information.  More information on Religious Education page. 

 Couples preparing for Marriage should contact the parish priests at least six months before the proposed wedding date. 

 The Sacrament of Penance (Confession) is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 5:45 p.m.  (or after the 5:15 p.m. Mass) and ends when there are no longer any persons to confess.  Also on Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

 The Anointing of the Sick is available upon request for the faithful who are seriously ill, before major surgery, or advanced age.  Please call the parish office to make an appointment.  

 The Sacraments of Holy Orders refers to Bish0ps, Priests and Deacons.  God the Father is the one who calls those whom He chooses to serve Him and the Church as bishops, priests or deacons.  If you are a baptized male, unmarried and free from financial or personal obligations to others,  if you are interested or have questions about a possible vocation to becoming a  priest please contact the pastor of our parish for more information.
